Orville by Gibson USED LPS/Les Paul Standard (Cherry Sunburst)
A used Orville by Gibson Les Paul, a now-discontinued legendary instrument that inherited the lineage of the original Gibson, has arrived!
Orville, established in the 1980s as a Japanese-made line directly affiliated with Gibson, was positioned as a lower-tier brand than Gibson. Despite its Japanese origins, it combined high quality unique to domestic production with the authentic feel of a Gibson, and remains highly popular both domestically and internationally, nearly 30 years after the brand's closure.
It features two original Gibson USA humbucker pickups.
This particular instrument shows some scratches and buckle marks, a dent on the 6th fret of the fretboard, and tarnishing on the metal parts. Two screws are missing from the rear escutcheon.
The frets have approximately 80-90% remaining, and there is some neck twist (almost straight on the 6th string side, slightly bowed on the 1st string side), resulting in some buzzing when bending high frets on the treble strings.
The truss rod has approximately 90° of adjustment remaining in the tightening direction, and there are no problems with the electronics.
