I purchased this back around 2005 in an attempt to learn how to make the software I wrote back then “Mac compatible” I don’t think I got further than turning it on once or twice before I put it in storage and moved on. There it has sat ever since.
This is the Apple Macintosh PowerBook G3 Lombard (Bronze Keyboard) edition… with a twist: the keyboard has both English (Qwerty) and Japanese (たていすかん) symbols on the keyboard. I have no idea of the origin other than I bought it off eBay)

• Keyboard present and appears in good condition
• Rear cover present
• Power supply present
• Top shell present and in good condition
• Lower shell present and in good condition
• HDD present
• RAM present
• CPU present
• Battery present (holds about 50 seconds of charge)
• CD ROM Drive present

Bad bits:
• Screen has 4 horizontal lines (no worse than when I got it 20+ years ago)
• HDD is suspected dead as it does not find a file system (there was one there when I got it)
• CD-ROM release lever damaged (but still usable)
• PC Card release thingy appears damaged, will double check when I next grab a card from storage.
• IR cover has removed itself, looks like a retaining piece has broken off (will be included with the sale, I did not want to glue it back on and make a mess)
• Case has many screws missing (was not me)
• Due to lack of OS, the following are untested:
• CD ROM
• IR
• Any ports

Also, the screen and HDD don’t appear to work when the battery is in and power cable in (works fine to boot from battery)

Ideally as with all electronic equipment this would be collected from Stafford, or dropped off in/around Stafford, Nottingham, Sutton Coldfield, Redditch (or anywhere in between.
For posting this will be well wrapped and protected.
