Original pre-WWII German sketch book full of little drawings and water color paintings. Dated 1933. Franz Illner written inside. It doesn't contain anything military, mostly just landscapes. Most of the art is quite good, this artist certainly was a step above casual doodler. There are some loose pages, possibly some missing pages, but it is hard to say. The spine has some wear and separation. There is a very interesting sketch of a modern Bauhaus style home on one page. There are several fetching pieces that I wouldn't mind having full size versions of. But there are also many that are on par with stuff I used to draw. Just a nice piece.
