Stunning vintage handmade crewel embroidery bedspread in king size. Beautifully detailed birds and flowers stitched in wool on a cotton ground. A true heirloom textile — perfect as a functional bedspread, collectible vintage textile, or statement wall hanging. Rare to find in this large size, especially in such excellent condition. This king-sized (114”x116”) is multicolored with neutrals, pinks and gold. This is a one of a kind piece of art.

Due to age, there are missing areas of crewel work and I did see one small hole as pictured (there could be more but nothing big). Otherwise, I have very, very, very carefully cleaned it and no stains are present. It is ready to use.
