Hello, and thank you for looking at my auction!

I'm not a professional railroadiana dealer or collector -- I'm just a guy who's dealing with his late father's estate. Today, you are looking at lot #s 547 and 548 -- a demitasse cup and saucer set from the Union Pacific Railroad, in the "Blue and Gold" design.  The demitasse cup was made by Scammell; it measures approximately 3 1/4" wide (from handle to opposite rim), 2 5/8" deep, and stands approximately 2 3/8" tall.  The saucer was made by Shenango China and measures approximately 4 1/2" in diameter.  The demi cup features the Lamberton Scammell backstamp; the saucer features the Shenango China backstamp.  The date of manufacture is unknown.

The demi cup is in near-mint condition: it has no visible chips, cracks, or crazing, but it does have a little bit of adhesive residue on it (my fault) and a little bit of dirt on the bottom rim.  On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 1 being "mint condition"), I would rate this item somewhere between a 1 and a 2.

The saucer is in excellent condition: it also has no visible chips, cracks, or crazing, but it does have some embedded surface dirt and a few light scratches to the gold rim.  On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 1 being "mint condition"), I would rate this item a 2.

Please note -- I have not had these items authenticated, and I make no guarantees as to their authenticity.  According to my sources, these pieces were purposely unmarked; it's therefore possible that these were simply stock pieces and were not used on the Union Pacific Railroad.  Please use your best judgment in deciding whether to purchase these items!

I'm flexible with shipping!  Don't see a shipping option you want?  Want to take advantage of combined shipping?  Just let me know before paying for your items!

Thanks, and happy browsing!
