Important usage instructions for our steel floor plates for BBQ grills

• Surface: The floor beneath the plate must be level, stable and free from uneven areas, sand, small stones or dirt.
• Weight distribution: The centre of gravity of the barbecue or outdoor cooking appliance should be evenly distributed. The appliance must have a stable, flat base.
• Avoid point loads: Placing heavy barbecues on very small or sharp-edged feet is not recommended, as this may cause concentrated pressure and possible deformation of the sheet metal.
• Handling: To avoid scratches, dents or damage to the surface, the barbecue must not be moved across the plate. If necessary, the appliance must be lifted.
• Cleaning & care: Clean the mat with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaners or sharp tools.
• Usage note: The sheet metal must not come into direct contact with open flames. The product is intended as floor protection underneath the barbecue and is not designed to be part of a fire pit, combustion chamber or barbecue tray.
