Scarce and highly collectible large original first printing Linda Ronstadt promotional poster issued by Asylum/Warner-Pioneer in Japan in 1977 to promote the release of the Simple Dreams album – her eighth studio album, produced by Peter Asher, and originally released on Asylum Records on 6th September, 1977. Containing the hit singles "Blue Bayou", "It's So Easy", "Poor Poor Pitiful Me", and "Tumbling Dice", the album was a huge commercial success.  It reached #1 on the Billboard 200, and stayed on the chart for 47 weeks (5 weeks at #1 and 16 weeks in the top 10). It was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in November 1990 for sales exceeding 3,000,000 copies in the US alone. The poster features a photo that was originally used by Time magazine in 1977. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 59.2 x 83.9 cm (approx. 23.3" by 33" inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
