Finished Set of 6 Felt Ornaments from Vintage LeeWards 'The 3 Wise Men' Kit, 14-38449.

Included are the 3 wise men, 2 camels and 1 horse.  All are approximately 7" tall*.

Vintage LeeWards felt ornament kits always included glue and instructions on how to glue the embellishments on the felt pieces.  The felt pieces are then either hand stitched or glued together. 

Some of these glued-on sequins have, after 50+ years, fallen off the felt.  You can see the missing sequins in the photos above.

These ornaments, based on their age and I assume years of use, are in good condition.  One of the wise men's "hands" have slipped out of one of his sleeves and a small area of a hand stitched seam on a camel's leg has come unstitched (see last photo).

There are no large rips, tears, damaged areas, etc.  These ornaments are not in mint condition -please look at the photos carefully- but I would not hesitate to display them as is.  You can most likely find matching sequins if you want to replace the missing ones.  There is a faint musty odor from years in storage; I have been airing them out in the fresh air and the odor is dissipating.

The kit was made in the United States and released for sale in 1972.  It has long since been retired.

*Many times the original packaging said the ornaments are 4" tall but in every one of these kits I've seen, the finished ornaments are 7" tall.
