RH+LH 2.5" Drop Spindle For VW BUG 1966-1977 Ball Joint Drum Brake



Introduction

Our drop spindles are brand new units, not re-manufactured old cores! CNC machined to exact tolerances.

These forged drop spindles feature 1/4" outwards offset. Clearance is usually not an issue.

These spindles are the first step to a brake system upgrade while giving you the built-in ability to lower your car an automatic 2 1/2" just by bolting them on.

These drop spindles are made for use with stock shocks.

The spindles fit 1966-1977 Standard Beetles and 1966-1974 Karmann Ghias (Ghia disc brake models using these spindles will need to swap to drum brakes.

Note

This drop spindles don't fit Super Beetles.

For vehicle prior to May of 1968, your stock tie rod ends will not work, you need to change them to 1968.5 and later style outer tie rod ends; inner wheel bearings and wheel seals are also required.

The vehicle information listed above is for stock, unmodified for VW's manufactured for sale in the US. For VW's are commonly modified and very often parts from another year for VW may have been installed on your car.
