DENON AVR-2801 Precision AV surround receiver 

This equipment has come from a friend who was a Hi-Fi collector but has sadly passed away. It has been stored for a number of years but has been tested before listing. It appears to work perfectly but would probably benefit from a service.

The Denon AVR-2801 is a 5.1-channel AV surround receiver originally released around 2000. It is well-regarded as a reliable "starter" amplifier for home theatre enthusiasts because it provides high-current, equal power (90W) to all five main channels, which is relatively rare for entry-level vintage units.
