**small stain on back of L sleeve.  (see photos) I have not tried to remove stain but in may be treatable

*****I received this as a gift in 1979 from a friend that collected and imported antique and vintage Kimonos.   I have never worn it and it has been stored since them or hung in a closet protected from dust

---Please note, I know nothing about antique Kimonos so I will do my best to describe things I notice.  Please refer to photos, ask questions, request more photos or information and refer to the photos I've posted .  Please zoom in and if you need more angles, let me know.

-fully lined

-beautiful orange with very light almost white flowers outlined in orange, also larger flowers and leaves in varying shades of orange, lt golden yellow, light green.  The florals on the center top back have metallic gold thread or thin cord embellishing them.  It is worn but beautiful

-I believe but not sure that it could be all silk but it is not smooth, seems to have some texture to it the fabric

This kimono has definitely been worn and used by its previous owner in Japan and shows wear and repair, however it remains beautiful and majestic.  

Following are some of the things I notice:

-some of the stitching like where the sleeves are attached and where the neck bank is attached appear to be hand sewn

-on one sleeve it appears it  the hem has been resewn in lighter thread

-the bottom edge hem has also been resewn, some with lighter thread and the inside lining is frayed

***the sm stain, fraying and stitching are shown in the last photos of the kimono

***All of the above characteristics are what I notice by inspecting it and are my honest descriptions.

*The measurements are:

Holding sleeves out to sides it measures 48 in

Holding sleeve up, the width measures 26 in

From top bk neck line to bottom of kimono is 54 in

Across bk the underarm to underarm is 23in
