Retro Midwinter Stylecraft "Quite Contrary" Ladle & Sauce Boat

Stylish ladle and sauce boat from Midwinter.

Part of the "Fashion Shape" range the ladle is decorated in the "Quite Contrary" pattern designed by Jessie Tait in 1957 featuring pink and black exploding stars on a white ground whilst the sauce boat is decorated in a solid turquoise glaze.

The ladle measures 8" (20cm) in length whilst the boat stands 4.5" (11.5cm) tall and measures 9" (23cm) from handle to spout.

Fully marked to the base, production of the boat dates to March 1960.

In good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
