Roshield Whole Wheat Bait Roshield Whole Wheat Bait for the control of rats and house mice in and around buildings. Our wheat is a ready-for-use bait formulated using food grade micronised (high temperature treated) wheat. Micronisation prevents germination and begins the conversion of starches to sugars, sweetening the bait and increasing its attractiveness to rodents. Roshield Whole Wheat Bait contains an aroma, giving a unique chocolatey smell. Taste adjuvants and sweeteners improve bait take, and bio-stats inhibit the growth of fungi or bacteria when the bait is used in damp conditions. Highly palatable and effective against all pest rodents, Roshield Whole Wheat Bait is the ideal bait to use where the target population is feeding on whole-grain foodstuffs. Important Information Rodent poison is not an instant solution and can take several days or longer from bait take to control an infestation. Larger infestations will require larger quantities of bait. Therefore, a single purchase of the above kit may not eliminate an entire infestation. Some areas of the country have known resistance issues to rodenticides, including bromadiolone. If based in or around the Reading area or aware of a localised resistance population, we highly suggest our Roshield brodifacoum options. USE WITH BAIT BOX - It is a UK requirement that all rodenticide bait approved for amateur use must be held within a tamper-resistant and lockable bait station. We recommend our Roshield Baiter box as it includes a large rod that allows for the placement of sachet grain bait.
UK APPROVED - Our rodenticide is approved by the HSE for use by amateur users for application in and around buildings. The active ingredient Bromadiolone is widely used by both amateur and professional users and has a significant control track record.

HOW MUCH BAIT SHOULD I BUY - The amount of bait required for successful control will vary on several factors, including the size of the population. As a rule, 500g will suffice for most mouse issues and 1-2kg for an established rat problem.
