Very good condition.

Previous owner's name to front end paper; several numbers in pencil to rear end paper; no other writing or markings found. Foxing/oxidization spots to frontispiece, tissue guard & title page. Scattered soiling, reading smudges & foxing to plates & page margins throughout. Soiling to top edge of page block. Binding firm & square. Covers have softening to spine ends; mild rubbing & wear at corners & along edges; soiling & darkening to spine & boards, with large dark patches along edges of front & rear covers.

Showing its age a bit, but still an attractive & desirable copy of the second collection of Sherlock Holmes stories. A nice addition to your collection or as a gift.
