Vintage Map Measuring Device/Instrument.
- One map measuring device completes with original cardboard box - see photographs
- Main dials are on both sides and are approx. 3.5cm dia - see photographs - which have been enlarged.
- The device is solid, metallic with polished chrome finish
- Instrument length from outer ring to wheel tip is circa 7 cm.
- One side measures at one into to mile maps, and in kilometers along with staute miles. The other side measures centimeters to kilometers and inches to miles or vrstes.
- The device is pre-family owned from new and is in all round good condition.
- This device is ideal for those who still have an interest and passion for outdoor walking and or cycling, but using the proven and time served (reliable) not IT driven, simple to use devices - as was the case in the 50’s, 60’s, and through to the late 1970’s/
- The device itself is in very good condition, the box however is worn and aged, but not damaged other than yellowing and normal aging.
