One set of several pieces from the Bishop & Stonier pottery in England. Stamped with the BISTO logo which is a combination of the two names. I believe this to be sample ware used by travelling salesmen to advertise the equivalent full size pieces. It could also be a child's set.

6 Small plates - 9.5cm diameter
6 Large plates - 11.5cm diameter
3 Platter plates - largest 14cm x 11cm
1 Tureen & plate - Plate 11.5cm x 8.5cm / Tureen 11cm x 7cm x 8cm
1 Large Tureen- 13.5cm x 9cm x 7cm
1 Sauce jug & plate - Plate 11cm x 8cm / Jug 9cm x 11cm x 6cm

One small plate has a crack, as does the sauce jug. Two large plates have slight marks on the edges. There is a ladle but this is broken. Please see photos for overall condition.

I don't know the exact age, but this has been in my family for years and packed away for most of that time.
