This is a great find! It is a rare Ozark  Air Lines AeroMini DC-9 die-cast metal model. This is a vintage collectible representing a very historic commercial airliner. This model is in 1/239 scale [Length:  6” (15 cm), Wingspan: 4.5” (12 cm)], making it a detailed and historically accurate representation of the iconic Douglas DC-9 aircraft (one of the most iconic airliners in the history of passenger flight). It is presented in Ozark  Air Lines classic, timeless and iconic green and white livery. 

AeroMini (also known as Aero Mini) specialized in producing high-quality die-cast metal models of various aircraft, making this Ozark  Air Lines AeroMini DC-9 a desirable addition for collectors and aviation enthusiasts. It has remarkable detail and fully retractable landing gear. The model is in good condition for its age, with only minor yellowing of livery in a few spots. Unfortunately, due to being struck by a car as a pedestrian (in a crosswalk, no less) on the college campus where I have served as a professor for many years and suffering severe injuries (including massive head trauma and numerous broken ribs, I have been sidelined from both my “day job” and my “side hustle” selling my AeroMini collection on eBay for many months. Overall, this model will make a great addition for any serious airline collector and is a reminder of the great craftsmanship that went into AeroMini toys that were made in Japan in the 1960s and 70s.
