Vintage "B.C. Milam & Son, No. 3, The Frankfort Kentucky Reel" Brass Reel, w/Bag, is in as-found, uncleaned condition. The reel turns freely and the click and drag work fine. The reel measures about 2 inches in diameter and has a spool width of about 1-3/4 inches. This reel is called the "Fancy" version because it has German silver components and bearing cones to add color variation to a brass reel. The handle knob is a vintage replacement. The reel's serial number is 9232. There is one brass screw on the head plate that has been replaced by a German silver one.
