This is a collectible 1952 First English Edition Hardcover Book. According to the Foreword, “The book appeared first in a German version published in Berne in 1952”. This “English version has been made direct from the original and slightly amended, Russian text of Ouspensky and French text of Lossky” -Titus Burckhardt

Hardcover has staining and worn out areas at corners and along edges, creases at corners.

Inside front inlay has pencil writing and opposite page has vertical crease mark ( top to bottom).

Remaining pages are clean with some yellowing and spot stains throughout from age.

Stains on outer edges of pages.

Pull out folded page has creases along edges and some top to bottom vertical folding/creases.

Spine intact.
