Up for bid is an unusual specimen from the Narlarla Mine in Western Australia. The interior appears to be White and Cream fluorescing Aragonite in a Leopard spot pattern. The outer crust of the mineral has a coating of Blue fluorescing Hydrozincite. There are also some spots of Pink and Red fluorescing Calcite. I am assuming the Aragonite was a Zinc rich variety and the Hydrozincite formed form the weathering of the Zinc in the Aragonite. This is the first time I have seen Hydrozincite form from Aragonite. This is a rare specimen. I only have a few I am willing to part with and this is the best one I am selling.
