The painting was exhibited at the 1972 Salmagundi Club Spring Exhibition where it won the Abe Sharpe Foundation Award. The original gallery label is still affixed to the verso, seen magnified in picture 5. The painting is in exquisite original condition with no damage to the board, paint losses, or in-painting. The original frame is in excellent condition with no major damage, but there is age-related wear including nicks, scrapes, and gouges. The painting is an absolute gem and ready for hanging as-is.
