Retro Educational Birds of North America Wildlife-Themed Cardboard Pencil Box

• This is a genuine vintage piece, likely produced in the late 1970's. Made in the USA by General Box Company. 
• Rectangular in shape. Medium sized. Measures roughly 8" long, 5.1" wide, 2.1" deep when closed. 
• Robin egg blue in color. Accented with black, white, browns, green, red, and yellow. Glossy finish. 
• The artwork features an assortment of realistic avian illustrations by E. Blackstock. 
• It's educational! Each bird is numbered and identified on the back along with its natural range.
• Single compartment interior space. No dividers. Has plenty of room to store small personal items, trinkets, or school supplies. 
• The lid is attached. Simply lift to open. Does NOT have any locking mechanism or tabs. 
• It's eco-friendly! Can be recycled and is biodegradable. 
• Perfect for general storage, decor, gift giving, collecting, and more! 

Condition Notes: 

• In remarkably good shape for it's age! Pre-owned, but practically never used. 
• There is some yellowing present in the lower left-hand corner on the backside. 
• A small amount of discoloring and a sharpie mark can be found on the front as well (near the title). Please review photos carefully.
• Otherwise clean and free of any rips, holes, handwriting, rub wear, scuffs, scratches, dents, or other obvious blunders. 
• Comes as a single piece exactly as shown. Does NOT include any original branded packaging, filler materials, accessories, additional boxes or other set components. 
• The manufacturer for this box went out of business in the late 1990's, so pieces like this one are becoming harder to find. It's a wonderful little piece of history!
