A cast iron countertop lemon squeezer that set on t\a counter as seen in photo 3. It is embossed "PAT NOV 9. 1897". It has the original black enamel and silver color embellishments. The aluminum cup folds out and plunger is also aluminum. and goes down via an Archimedean thread. You would set it on the counter and put a small bowl under to catch the juice as seen in 3rd photo. In very good unused condition. There's a flat spot that has a hole to mount it to the counter but seems impractical to use it that way. It is 7 inches tall with the plunger all the way down.
NOTE: I will sell my lemon squeezer collection on eBay this month. It is likely one of the largest and most complete collections of 19th century cast iron American lemon squeezers with many rare and scarce examples.
