This in an interesting suspense fork from the 90s.  It is working, as it has pretty good compression.  Although it works, it may very well need service to be optimal.  I can't guarantee it's performance, so be prepared to do maintenance on a 30+ year old fork if the need arises.  The steering tube is 172mm long for a 1" threadless headset.  The star nut has been damaged. It will need to be removed and replaced.
