These drivers came from a small movie theater, so they were always kept indoors, in a dry environment.

The drivers have been tested at 500hz and up to 5khz, at 5 watts with audio oscillator, and also tested with music through a 40uf polypropylene coupling capacitor, and sounding very clear, smooth midrange and highs, and extremely efficient!

My listening test with these drivers, they sound wonderful, very smooth and clear midrange and highs, with the listing test done with single ended 300B tube amplifiers.

I also have one single 299-16A, and one pair 299-16A, with original Altec diaphragms,

And also one pair 299-16A drivers with new Lase diaphragms.
