Contemporary Pair Bedside Tables Cabinets - Solid Wood Tops Two Drawers Vintage

A matching pair of contemporary bedside cabinets, each fitted with two drawers and an open lower shelf. Finished in a dark painted colour with contrasting natural wood tops, they have a simple, practical look suited to bedrooms, guest rooms, or as compact side cabinets.

Each cabinet is fitted with metal cup handles and stands on shaped feet. The open lower shelf provides useful additional storage, while the drawer layout offers good everyday practicality. The clean, understated design allows them to sit comfortably in both traditional and more modern interiors.

The tops are made from solid wood, likely pine / beech or similar, left in a natural finish showing the grain. The painted bases and drawer boxes are constructed from composite materials including MDF, consistent with late 20th or early 21st century manufacture. Exact maker is unknown. All sets are of the same design and finish, with only minor variation in wear between examples.

Condition
In well used condition, showing many surface marks, scuffs and scratches throughout. The painted finish shows edge wear, chips and rubbed areas, particularly to corners and feet. The wooden tops show marks, light staining and general wear from use. Drawers run as they should and the cabinets remain solid and functional. Would benefit from a good clean and polish or ideal for re-finishing / upcycle.
