This is a vintage original 1952 Topps 5 Cent wrapper that could have once contained an untouched rookie card of the great Mickey Mantle. The material used by Topps for this wrapper is a very fragile “cellophane-like” product. As a result, these wrappers at times tend be offered with unsightly tears or large pieces missing. This offered example is void of tears or missing pieces but appears to have been slightly trimmed along at least three of the four edges. The entire core of the wrapper is present and is clean of any other notable flaws. Notwithstanding the trimming imperfection, the wrapper has great eye appeal and it represents a more inexpensive opportunity to add super desirable collectible to any 1952 Topps card collection or baseball wrapper collection.
