JVC BR-S605U S-VHS Professional Video Cassette Recorder 

For sale- a JVC BR-S605U S-VHS Professional Video Cassette Recorder as pictured.  It powers up as indicated by the red LED by the standby power button, but is unresponsive to the controls.  I took the top off for a quick look and it has a tape in place that it will not eject.  Accordingly it is sold for parts or repair ONLY, NO returns.

The front control panel looks pretty nice, I was going to say that the top needed some major cleanup (tape residue) but to my surprise that came off pretty easily.  So now I would say the overall physical condition is very good, well worth refurbishing.  Please check out my other listings for more interesting vintage audio/video equipment.  Check back often!

If this item requires a standard modular computer style AC cord, I no longer ship those automatically as I figure most people have a box full of them by now.  If you need one and request it I will be happy to include one as long as I don’t think it compromises the shipment.  If the piece ships without this request NO AC cord will be included and I will NOT ship one after the fact.
