Up for sale is this used pair of Cox Sure Start 049’s as produced by Cox Industries some 60 odd years ago. 

One is a standard Glow version and comes without a Starter  spring and Drive washer.

The other has been converted to Diesel with a MECOA Cylinder Head. It is fitted with the Starter spring and Drive washer.
Also included are 2 x NOS Needle Valves.

These motors were part of over 4,000 others as purchased by Ivor F late last century.

Please note the Diesel conversion most probably did not include a strengthened Crankshaft.
