Delightful, large 12" and very early Mickey Mouse doll.
This is the earliest of all the official franchised dolls of Mickey Mouse, licensed by Walt Disney...he's even older than all the U.S.A dolls

Made in England, by the Deans Rag Book Company.
still displaying a clear registration # at his neck

Great looking face to old Mickey
He has the distinctive earliest , "rat face" toothy grin
Shown here in a more desirable, larger size of 12 inches / 31 cm, to his ears
(about 6 inches was the standard / most common size).
Mickey also has his original and much scarcer, googly eyes, to follow you about the room !
Velveteen, cloth and felt type materials; wire armature within
HE STILL STANDS UP UNAIDED
Mickey wears his original shorts
Retaining all four correct buttons on his shorts
, and his nice old ribbon. still about his neck
His original feet / shoes are nice and tidy.
For such an old soft toy, he still looks great; displaying with a bit of wear about his wrists, and an ancient, neat old patch repair, to the back of his right hand (see pics).
A little bit of sun fade to spots of his black velveteen; which i actually think looks quite attractive
