This is a really attractive Bakhtiari carpet with a wonderful design and nice warm colour palette dating from around 1930.

The raspberry field is detailed with ivory and indigo lozenges beautifully woven with trees and flowering plants, as well as stylised peacocks. The central field is all framed by meandering vine and palmette borders, flanked by guard stripes. 

The carpet is in excellent condition throughout with a good even pile and no wear or restoration. 

Ready for immediate use in the home.
