Technical Description: Descriptions from the manufacturer or test pages are generally related to the model series. Each model may be slightly different. Therefore, consider the following helpful information only.

Surface Pro 5 for Business With the Surface Pro 5, Microsoft has brought a number of improvements and innovations to market. The 12.3-inch PixelSense display is an absolutely impressive screen and is characterised by its extremely high contrast and first-class anti-glare coating. Microsoft has now packed even more power into the lightweight. The Surface Pro 5 with strong Intel Core processor series generation is not only more powerful, but also much quieter and more energy-saving. And that's not all: thanks to the proven folding stand with multiple positioning positions and an optional keyboard, the device can be used like a laptop. An improved touch pen has also been developed and there is an advanced docking station to transform the Surface into a multi-screen workstation with USB3.0 ports. Outstanding Performance The Intel Core processors not only make your Surface Pro 5 more powerful, they also run quieter, cooler, and more efficiently than ever before. The processor even has no fans at all. With that performance and an impressive battery life of up to 9 hours, Surface Pro 5 is a mobile workstation that lets you run multiple professional programs simultaneously. The 5MP front camera and 8MP rear autofocus camera allow you to easily start video conferences with colleagues around the world Advanced Technology from Microsoft The optional Surface Pen writes as smoothly and accurately as a ballpoint pen on paper. Use your pen to open a OneNote note or turn on Cortana, your personal digital assistant. It reminds you of appointment, person and location and even books a reservation in the restaurant for you. Surface Pro 5 also uses the latest camera technology for facial recognition. With Windows Hello, Surface Pro 5 recognizes exactly who you are and signs you in without a password. Compelling performance for businesses Surface Pro 5 handles any of your work tasks. In addition, it offers increased security through a built-in TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip. This defends your Surface Pro 5 from malware and protects personal files. Like any other PC, your computing department can configure your Surface to integrate into a domain and manage it with tools you already have, like Active Directory, SCCM, and Air Watch. Versatile as a laptop Practical like a tablet, versatile like a notebook: via its cover connector, you dock an optional, ultra-thin cover keyboard and can use the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 like a laptop. Alternatively, you can connect a keyboard via Bluetooth 4.0 or via a USB 3.0 port. To enter handwritten graphics, notes or signatures on the touchscreen, use the handy optional Surface Pen. If you want to work on a large format display, you connect the premium tablet to a screen via the Mini DisplayPort. The optional Surface accessory available from the manufacturer. Surface Pen - Natural Writing Feel Do you want an input pen that fits as comfortably in the hand as a fountain pen? Surface Pen has you covered, whether it's marking presentations, electronic signatures, or graphic masterpieces. For notes, just press a button to open a blank sheet even in energy-saving mode. Surface Keyboard - Touch Cover or Type Cover The touch cover is a plastic lid about 3 millimeters flat with a roughened surface that responds to finger pressure without stroke. It's extra thin and lightweight while protecting your screen. As an alternative, Microsoft offers the Type Cover equipped with the right buttons. It is 50g heavier, made of hard plastic. At 6 millimeters thick, it is slightly thicker but also provides real key feedback. Therefore, it is the decision of the disuser. For frequent writers, the type cover is the best variant. If you write in normal dimensions, the touch cover is sufficient. The initial cost is approximately the same for both. Surface Dock - Multi Port Expansion Turn your tablet into a full-fledged desktop system with the docking station. Many ports that the Surface cannot accommodate due to the slim design are added here very easily. If you want to work a lot, use the Surface Dock.
