The Aria STB-PB Electric Bass Guitar delivers iconic vintage looks, reliable build quality, and exceptional playability at a price point that makes it accessible to any bassist. Built as part of Aria's renowned STB entry-to-mid range, this model features a traditional comfort-contoured solid Basswood body paired with a punchy bolt-on configuration. Wrapped in a stunning, timeless 3-Tone Sunburst finish, the STB-PB provides the classic aesthetic, balanced weight, and structural reliability needed to drive your rhythm section forward in rehearsals, studio sessions, and live gigs.

Angkor Music Technical Evaluation: Tonewood Architecture & The OP-1 Fundamental Voice

The structural foundation of the STB-PB is optimized for balanced acoustic resonance and durability. Its lightweight basswood body delivers a clear, unhyped midrange response, serving as an excellent tonal canvas. This is paired with a rock-solid Maple bolt-on neck and a smooth Rosewood fingerboard featuring 21 frets laid across a standard full-scale 860mm (34-inch) length. Electronically, the bass is loaded with a single Aria OP-1 split-coil pickup. This double-coil architecture cancels hum while serving up that iconic, punchy low-end growl and thumping low-mid fundamental focus that has defined bass tracking across decades of rock, blues, and pop music.

E-E-A-T: Dependable Hardware & Precision Workmanship

At Angkor Music, we carefully select stringed instruments that offer true physical durability and tuning stability for developing players. The STB-PB is equipped with traditional Chrome Clover-style machine heads for smooth, granular gear adjustment, paired with a heavy-duty VFB-1 fixed bass bridge to optimize string-to-body vibration transfer. Driven by a straightforward master Volume and master Tone control configuration, this bass allows you to dial in your signature frequency profile instantly without complex sub-menus or active battery dependency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a full 34-inch scale bass suitable for beginners?
Yes. A 34-inch scale length is the global standard for electric bass guitars. Learning on a full-scale instrument ensures proper physical finger-reach habits, muscle memory development, and correct hand positioning while providing the standard low-end string tension required for clear pitch definition.

Does this Aria bass guitar require batteries to run?
No. The Aria STB-PB utilizes a passive electronic layout featuring an Aria OP-1 pickup alongside standard passive volume and tone pots. It requires no internal batteries or external power blocks; simply plug it directly into a bass amplifier or audio interface using a standard guitar cable.

What style of music is the STB-PB model best suited for?
Thanks to its split-coil pickup configuration, this bass is incredibly versatile. It is an industry standard for rock, pop, blues, punk, and roots music, valued for its ability to deliver a fat, woody thump that fills out the low-end frequency spectrum perfectly.
