This pretty plate is from the Southern Pacific Railroad 
was made by Bauscher China in 1923.  
It beautifully marked with the SP's colorful top logo.

MANUFACTURER: Bauscher China; distributed by Arthur Schiller & Son. 

PATTERN: "Sunset" , the version with smaller white flowers in the rim band. 

SIZE:  7 inches across - perfect for a salad, or a dessert like cake or pie.

DATE: Bottom marked 1923. 

CONDITION : This plate displays beautifully with a crisp, sharply detailed top logo and floral rim band, with no glaze runs.  There are NO cracks, chips, flakes or repairs and no rim edge discoloration. There are light use marks (must turn it in bright light to see them) almost all in the center eating surface.This plate is very heavy for its size.
