A pretty English solid sterling silver and enamel box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1983 with the maker being James Swann & Son. It has been superbly made with the lid being enamelled with a cottage scene. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. No chips cracks or repairs to the enamel. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3cm) across by over 0.5 inches (1.4cm) tall and weighs 14 grams. A superbly made very high-quality piece.
