Today I am offering this spectacular skirt from the high-end, high-quality St. John brand.

It is a fabulous quality knit skirt, but it's NOT Santana knit.

It is smoother, more dense.

The yarn has a slightly different composition.

It's made of 53% wool, and 47% rayon.

The difference is that Santana knit is made from wool and acrylic.

It is slightly stretchy in jet black color.

It had primary blue colored bands or stripes in various widths around the bottom section.

It has a high waist with no waistband.

There is a "hidden" side zipper with a top hook and eye closure.

It is knee-length (on most heights).

It's a straight skirt, not flared.

It's not tapered enough to be called a pencil skirt.

There are 2 darts at the back of the waistband, so it will conform to your curves.

There are no slits or kick-pleats. It's unlined.

It is labeled a women's US size 2 and measures laying flat and unstretched approximately as follows:

• 13½" from side to side across the top edge of the waist opening.
• 24" from top of waist to bottom edge.
• 19" from side to side across at hip level
• 17½" from side to side across the bottom opening
• 7" zipper length
