The car drives well and the engine runs sweet. Nice throttle response, moves well, crisp handling without being crashy and choppy on bumps. No untoward suspension sounds, idle issues or cooling problems - I could confidently drive this long distance over the country if I felt the need to.
I had a check under the car when I bought it and I was satisfied with the chassis underneath etc, but you're of course welcome to come and check. It's had the rear inner sills repaired/welded (very common now on these Celica's), so that's one common issue for this car that the new owner doesn't need to worry about. The subframes aren't rotten and about to fall apart, which is great too. Generally speaking, the underside of the chassis frame is surprisingly good for it's age and I welcome anybody to inspect in person - I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
Finding a Celica without any rot on the sills/subframes is becoming very hard nowadays, so enjoy the fact that this is a great example that also happens to a lovely exterior also.

I'd prefer a cash sale, but if I must take a part ex to assist a sale, then I'll consider it, but I don't want anything that will eat into the cash side of it too much, so nothing more than £1k - £1.5k
No test drives unless you can show me a certificate of insurance that you've taken out for the car - sorry, I've had bad experiences in the past with test drives.
