HIDEKI MATSUI
This card of then-recent Yankees signing Hideki Matsui was passed out to attendees of the 2003 Hawaii Trade Conference.
This card is done in the style of the 2003 Upper Deck base set;
however, unlike a similar Gary Carter card there are no markings on the card signifying that it was given away in Hawaii.*

Most likely this situation occurred because Matsui did not sign with the Yankee organization until December 19, 2002 and the Trade Conference was held in February of 2003, thus missing the deadline to be printed in the same format as the other cards distributed at the conference.
