Miocene era fossil gravel bags.
Material from the Ernst Quarry, Bakersfield.
Dated around 15 million years old.
Associated with the Ancient Temblor Sea.  
Contains assorted micro and marine fossils. 
A fun home project for any collector.
Each bag weighs approx. (6) lbs. 
Recommended dry then wet sifting for best yield. 
The finer the screen used the better
