You are looking at a used vintage 

1970s OLYMPIC DRUMS 5.5x14 gold sparkle snare drum. 

Made in England at the PREMIER factory. 

I think this is a birch or mahogany shell. I am not sure which.   

The size is 5.5x14. 

Another helpful eBayer told me PREMIER never made a 5x14 snare drum.

This one has Serial number 1722. 

Year is about 1970 give or take a couple years. 

The only problem with the drum is it wants to be played.  

This Olympic snare drum is an eight lug drum.  I like 8 lug drums. 

This snare drum would be a great drum when you get it.

I think this one sounds good, and is nicely responsive.

The aftermarket 16 strand snare wire set is still present, straight, and good. 

The bottom snare head is a like new EVANS GENERA RESO 300. 

The top batter head is a used EVANS genera dry white head. 

The 16 square head tension rods are all here with washers. 

There are a couple of scuffs in a panel or two. 

Photos show most of the flaws. 

And it has a scratch or two. 

The chrome is clean and looks good, but you can further detail it yourself.

I always say, It could use a better cleaning.

We left that to you.

This drum itself weighs 5 pounds and 13.0 ounces. 

If you need a drum like this, don’t miss out. 

I've had this drum for many years and have not been using it. 

I never had the matching set of gold sparkle drums. 

Maybe it is now your turn.
