[Used] Gibson / J-45 Vintage Sunburst w/Active PU [2006 model]
The overwhelmingly popular No. 1 model, the Gibson J-45!
Since its birth in 1942, this model has continued to be supported by many guitarists and artists.
This is a 20-year-old model, but it's a guitar that fully delivers the captivating sound of the J-45!
Made in USA, Montana factory.
The all-solid round-shoulder body features a spruce top and mahogany sides and back.
Equipped with a rosewood upper belly bridge and teardrop pickguard.
This guitar features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a nut width of approximately 44mm, and a 24.75" Gibson scale length.
The tuners have been replaced with GOTOH Kluson-type tuners of the same shape.
An active pickup is mounted, and the volume can be controlled at the edge of the soundhole.
After arrival, the guitar has been cleaned, the strings replaced, the truss rod adjusted, the frets leveled, the bracing separation repaired, the nut replaced, and the saddle adjusted.
The truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning correctly. The frets have sufficient height remaining for playability.
There is a large paint chip on the end of the body. (The chipped area is likely to expand in the future.)
Overall, there are scratches and... Numerous dents, paint changes, and paint peeling are visible.
Weather checking is visible in places on the top.
The paint on the back of the neck has become cloudy due to playing.
There is a gouge on the lower position of the fretboard from string pressure, and a dent between the 3rd and 4th frets (6th string side).
The truss rod cover is warped due to age.
It shows considerable signs of use, but playability is not affected.
A guitar that perfectly matches the characteristic punchy sound of a J-45 with a slightly dry tone!
Recommended for those who want to play it even more!
