The belt is a solid pc of leather a hair over 1/4 inch thick.  Thr stitching and tool work is clear and clean.  In fact the belt looks new.  The buckle does not seem of the same quality .  Thr horse moves a bit and I do not think it is supposed to but it also seems secured good to the flat oval part.
