Up for sale is a large lot of 47 vintage Canadian silver dimes from the King George VI era, spanning the years 1937-1952.
This lot includes a great mix of original 80% silver Canadian coinage with several better collectible pieces throughout the group.
Highlights include:
* 3x 1947 Maple Leaf transitional dimes
* Better-condition 1940 dime in holder
* Full George VI era silver coin lot
* Mixed circulated to lightly circulated condition
* Original vintage Canadian silver coins
* All coins shown are included
The 1947 Maple Leaf dimes are especially collectible transitional issues struck after the removal of “IND: IMP” from the royal legend and are identified by the small maple leaf beside the date. These coins remain some of the most sought-after circulation issues from the George VI dime series.
All coins in this lot are pre-1967 Canadian silver coinage and contain 80% silver. Coins show varying degrees of circulation, toning, wear, scratches, and age-related handling marks consistent with vintage circulated silver coins. Some coins display stronger detail and nicer eye appeal than others, including the featured 1940 example.
This is a great lot for:
* Canadian coin collectors
* silver stackers
* world coin collectors
* George VI collectors
* vintage silver investors
