The green tag indicates its role  in early production quality control. The figure is the Battle Droid with a Blaster rifle. The green tag is marked Dec 3, 1998. The other figure has no green tag, but came with the green tag figure from the collection of a former Hasbro toy designer.*** This tag has information on both sides of the Green Tag*** This figure is a Destroyer Droid and has some clear tape residue on the back where a green tag may have been attached.
