This was connected when I bought it. There was electric, but no water. I pushed the start button and the disposal ran. About 1 second later I pushed the stop button and it stopped. Because there was no water, I didn’t test it any further. It is heavily used and shows many signs of wear. See pictures.

They were closing a whole kitchen at a retirement home and selling everything, not just this.
