J reg (August) 1991 2dr with 110k miles on the clock in Calypsorot red. The car comes with some history from over the years and the original book pack. I have also got a run down of the work I have completed over my 4 years of ownership, this consists of over £2000 in parts alone. I have done timing belt change and servicing, 4x shocks & top mounts, bushings (front), brake disk/drums and pads, rear brake lines & custom stainless steel exhaust (downpipe back made as a copy of the original) along with new BMW badges front and rear.
The car is fully running and passed the last MOT with no advisories and had been to quite a few shows over the last few years, always getting compliments and interest. Next MOT due 28/06/2026, although I can arrange for an MOT to be completed if required.
The bad bits:
- The V5c states: 'This vehicle has been salvaged because the estimated cost of commercial repair was more than the value of the vehicle', I have no history of this, I believe the bonnet & front wing have been replaced.
- Could do with new clutch release bearing (slight noise with clutch up in neutral)
- Small crack in dashboard (common on E30s)
- Rear beam/trailing arm bushes would benefit from replacement (replacement bushes come with the car)
- Paintwork on the car is lovely and shiny, but there are some small areas of lacquer peel/small scratches/minor dents.
- Garages that have worked on the car have always commented positively about the cars condition from a rust perspective, but there are a few small areas as shown in the pictures.
- No history of the change of engine, but the M20B25 runs smoothly, pulls well, sounds good and has had new thermostat housing, rotor arm and general servicing under my ownership.
The car is a 2dr manual with sunroof with many desirable extras.
- shadow line trim
- Rear pop out windows
- Rear headrests
- Full boot lining & complete toolkit
- SE side shirts
- Dual tone grey/black dash
- 15 inch BBS basket weave with 5x centre caps (recently refurbished)
- M20B25 engine (325i)
- Fully working onboard computer
I hope I’ve accurately described the car, if you have any questions please do ask.
