USPS Fuel Surcharge: effective April 26, 2026
Starting April 26, 2026 through January 17, 2027, the United States Postal Service
(USPS) will implement a 8% fuel surcharge on select shipping services due to
rising
transportation and fuel costs.
The
price increase will apply to:
Priority Mail
Priority Mail Express
Ground Advantage
Parcel Select
All weights and zones
On some items this a 16% increase in the last 90 days !!

USPS January 18, 2026 Shipping Rates: Average Increases of 7.8% for Ground Advantage, 6.6% for Priority Mail, and 5.1% for Priority Mail Express took effect.
I do not make money from shipping
I have waited to implement this increase in order to see how it affected shipping cost, but now I have no choice.
