A lightly used Nvidia RTX2080Super blower model. Mainly used for online browsing/videos and some classic gaming.
This is a Dell reference model and used by them and Alienware which uses an A1 gpu chip along with the faster Samsung memory modules on a 256 bit interface.
The benefits of using this blower card include:-
• It blows the heat out of the case rather than into the case • Smaller than a larger third party non-reference card so will fit most cases without any case modification being required • No card sag so easier to mount unlike larger non-reference 3rd party cards which often need additional support • The high quality Samsung (better than a non super card which uses lower specification ram) • The A1 gpu chip is known for overclockability. It can be simultaneously undervolted and overclocked for more consistent frame rates and lower power draw.
(Since finding out about undervolting fairly recently I have briefly tested running this at an undervolt of 900mv with the gpu running at 1905mhz and memory at 16000mhz with a more aggressive fan curve. I have not seen the fan go beyond 50% and the card is noticeably faster and runs much cooler than at stock settings, fan noise is low and power draw is significantly reduced - this seems to be a sweet spot for this card.)
