In vintage years, the shape and thickness of Fender guitar necks varied tremendously. The American Vintage II Series features authentic neck profiles from Fender's past. Crafted at our Corona, Calif. manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster 1-piece maple neck features a "V"-shaped profile and 7.25"-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage-tall frets.

Maple neck with Maple fretboard. Neck finish is Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer. Tuning keys not included. 1957 "V" shape neck profile. 4-bolt mounting.  Fits Almost All Fender and Squier Brand Strat Bodies with a 4-Bolt Strat Heel Cutout.  A "fifth" hole may be drilled for mounting to a contour heel body.   Fingerboard radius is 7.25" (184.1mm). Black Dot position inlays. Black side dots. 21 Vintage Tall frets. Vintage Butt Adjust truss rod. Vintage Slotted truss rod nut. The nut width is 1.650" (42 mm).  Bone string nut. 25.5" (648mm) scale length. Vintage Style Peghole Diameter. Vintage-Style 2-Screw tuner compatibility. American Vintage II Series. Neck thickness at the first fret is + / - .875” (22.22 mm).  Neck thickness at the twelfth fret is + / - .985” (25.02 mm).  Made in USA.

This replacement neck is for a Fender® or Squier® by Fender guitar.

Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures. Your local FMIC Authorized Service Center can install genuine replacement necks.
