Great looking book in the 8's-- I think an 8.5

Nice Silver Age DC, pictures tell the story. I'll always show all edges, page quality and front and back cover so you can make an educated decision. I've been doing this a long time as a collector and think I am generally fairly conservative with my grades. The things I see graded on eBay sometimes make me shudder. When in doubt, I take it down a half grade or more.

Look at the scans carefully. If there is an issue, I usually take a photo of it and include it in the mix. I do think many of the comic store-purchased books I bought over the years, with a press, can easily exceed my grade. But of course, that’s an opinion. Look at my feedback, it’s a pretty good indication of what you will get.

My books were mostly read once and placed in bags, unless I bought them as back issues. (some were multiples bought and immediately bagged) Many of my books are regularly purchased by eBay dealers and marked up significantly.

I generally start auctions rather low. If they dont sell, the next week they go up as a BIN for a bit more. If I could tell you how many auctions pass, but then sell for a premium a week or two later, it might shock you. I'll never really understand that. But, it's happened frequently.

I can ship two books for the shipping price and combine. If you want more, it will depend on where you live. Sometimes East Coast is a bit more (I am West Coast) I'm not in the habit of making money on postage, but I also don't want to lose money, because I don't charge a premium for my time or for bags and boards or supplies, which is rather significant. I can usually ballpark pretty closely.

If you do buy multiple, try to send a request for an invoice so I don't have to refund. But I do refund if that can't happen for some reason. To get combined shipping, you must wait and purchase at once. Paying for an auction on a Monday, then paying for another on a Wed doesnt work. Because I sell so much I pack and ship pretty much when you pay. So generally that order has already been processed.

My flat rate is generally cheaper than using the eBay shipping manager, which I only do for very heavy lots, because the post office prices have risen significantly over the past 3 years.

Each comic comes in a bag with a backing board. Sometimes larger lots come two comics to a bag— thats to make weight and keep shipping costs as low as I can, but I try to call that out. Some bags are Mylites, some are poly. All backing boards are acid-free.

From a smoke-free home. My comics don’t smell like a litterbox!
